Waterproof IP66 Outdoor Plug In camera

I need an outdoor camera that is weather resistant. My batteries drain too fast. If I had a weatherproof outdoor camera it would solve my issue and I wouldn't have to contemplate having andother camera system.

These Arlo Pro Wi-Fi Camera batteries do not function well at lower temperatures but do function better on USB powered A/C adapter.  Having a USB cable with a seal on them like automotive waterproof connectors would improve long term reliability of camera USB connection.

Is this new weatherproof cable any closer to being done? I just read that it's been pulled since October.
