Logging and Developer Mode

Is there away to enable developer mode on the app? With all the problems that the app has why not enable logging and developer mode. Even if it is hidden function that would require it to be enabled.  Having the app generate real time logging in its intended environment will enable the develops see what variables (IE: crashes, conflicts, user settings) are affecting the app.

Suggestion: Have administrative controls through the web portal that would enable devmode, logging, or whatever. Since we are only superusers anyway Netgear techs would have to enable it for us to turn X function on and then it would dump the data in a specific data extraction folder on your servers this way it limits end-user mistakes/interactions. Isn't that how the video recording work anyway that we access?
