Battery eliminator for cold weather

I recomend that you develop a dummy battery or perhaps a NiMh battery that could be used for cold weather applications where the unit can run off of external power.   The NiMh wouldn't have the capacity but the use of the battery could turn off the temperature limiter. I love my system but the issue with the cold weather charging is really a showstopper for me to get more cameras.

The battery eliminator replacment could include a mechanism to allow for a watertight outdoor connection.

In the meantime please include an option on the camera settings to not have the cold-weather not charging message when viewing the camera.  It is really annoying to see that message every time you open the app on cold days.

+1 yes, this!

Right now, it's hovering around 0 degrees but not constant and it's really frustating to have an outdoor camera turn off and not do it's job. I have it connected to a wall outlet but like to keep the battery connected at all times in case there is a power outage at my house.

I would really like if it was possible for my Arlo Pro to use power from the wall vs from the battery. Not sure why it is designed to draw power from battery when it detects a constant power source. Or at least having a switch on the app that disables the battery charging.

I can't rely on this to be my security camera anymore 😞 Perhaps my setup is not correct so I'm hoping someone would be able to set me straight or the software to be better with colder weather. I have the subscription but it seems like a waste of money atm since it's doing nothing.
