Testflight Beta for iOS App

With the recent geofencing issues regarding an app update on iOS, should Arlo look at running a Testflight beta for testing app updates in the real world? This would give Arlo much more feedback from people that use the system every day and if issues arose, they could fix the issue before it is released on to the App Store.
