Solar Panel To Start Charging At Specified Percentage

Make a setting on the devices ,that can charge from the solar panel, a percentage level to start charging. Insead of charging when sunlight make it when sunlight and <= 25% for instance. Then the customer can set there level they want. Just like with cellphone to much charging can hurt the battery life.

Does the solar panel not cut out when the battery charge reaches 100% charge?

If it doesn’t cut out, could this cause damage and/or wear out the battery quicker?

Thank you for your comment. Hopefully the manufacturer of the Arlo Solar Panel would have thought of an overcharging situation & built in some sort of cut off which then would start to recharge again once the level dropped but who knows, perhaps we’ll get an informed answer from them here. There’s nothing in the manual that states this.
