Smart alert features were implemented in wrong area
Smart alerts (for detecting people/other) should NOT be located under "manage & notifications". That limits customer functionality. That option to alert on people and or non-people should be located in the Mode / Rule section. Maybe I want to detect PEOPLE on a configured schedule for a camera and people AND objects on a different schedule for that same camera. On my front door cam I want to know if people are detected from midnight to 6am, but any other time I want people and objects. I could do that with a mode / rule and that feature being located in the "Detects Motion" page of a rule. THAT is where it makes sense to configure MOTION DETECTION OPTIONS... in the "detects motions" page! This is another Netgear fail. Do you even solicit customer feedback on features and UI implementations or do you just throw crap at a wall and hope it sticks?
