Reset Battery without physically removing the battery

I installed the Arlo Pro Camera in our vacation home 850 miles away and four days later I get this error message, "The charging source connected to the camera cannot charge your battery. Please use an Arlo power adapter." I am using the Arlo Pro power adapter. The problem is there is no way to reset the battery without taking the battery out of the camera. My idea is: allow an end user like myself to reset the battery from my online account or to reset the battery some other way without having to be physically remove the battery.

I know prob not what you wanted, but the camera can run off the adapter without the battery pack installed.
