Option to keep certain recordings

In my library, if I like certain recording, and want to keep it for a while, it would be nice to have option to "keep it" or "keep it until...", so they don't get overwritten by new recordings. Then of course it later becomes the owner's responsiblity to remove them if the storage becomes full.
