Feature request: Remove/hide/blur parts of a camera picture/view

In the Arlo app it is possible to zoom/crop a camera view, but in some cases one would like to remove (black out or blur) just a small part of the camera view. It would be nice to be able to draw a box to remove such a part. In Sweden camera monitoring is very restricted and sometimes it is hard to mount cameras without covering areas that you are not allowed to film. Being able to exclude parts of the camera view would be very helpful.

In Germany, as in other European countries, it is strictly illegal to point a private security camera at public spaces.

If your video field shows even one square inch of public road or walkway

a) the isntallation of your camera is illegal and

b) no video footage thereof may be used as evidence in court, even if it shows a burglar in full glory...

I propose the option of „blank/ blur zones“ that could be impelemted much like the polygonal activity zones. These zones would show up black (or white) or blurred in any recording, thus making the entire recording legal again.

With the wide field of view, in my experience it is nearly impossible, not to cover some snippet of public ground if you want to use multiple Arlos as perimeter security for your home.

A similiar suggestion was made in the German forum by someone else in 2015, but somehow it was never followed-up. By now, with the European legislation, such a feature should be welcome in any EU country...

Are there any news to this? It is quite important in countries with stricter laws as what you can film. It would be much easier to blur out parts of the view than to change the view of tha camera in some situations.
