Fail Safe Software for Geofencing (Default to Away Mode if phone dies)

So I did a little experiment to see what happens if my phone dies while I'm at home. And the the result was that arlo didn't recognize a change and continues to remain in home mode. However I would like to know what happens in a reverse scenario. Where I'm not at home. Geo fencing is set to away mode and I turn my phone is off. I'm guessing it just defaults to the last known position. However if that's the case I would like to see it changed to default to away mode when geo referencing is rendered useless. I can only imagine being in a rush to go somewhere and realizing your phone diddnt charge because the switch that goes to that outlet was off or perhaps the power went out last night ect. I'd like to see a fail safe software update. I am bachelor and completing the rest of this experiment would be difficult with just one person. However If anyone knows the results for when you're at work and turn off your phone, aswell as return with it off. You're insight would be amazing!

Kmech,

Geofencing is designed to operate on a "first in, last out basis". This means that if any device is in the Geofencing radius the "Home" mode will enable, and the "Away" mode should only enable when the last device has left the radius.

For this to work your device must be logged into the app and location must be enabled. If the app is logged off/not running, Geofencing will not work.

Geofencing is still a Beta feature at this time and the engineering team is working hard to improve it. We appreciate any and all feedback related to this feature.
