Arlo Outdoor Camera Mount

The optional outdoor camera mounts (the ones that screw into the camera) are very useful, but unfortunately the balljoint component that screws into the camera rusts very quickly, and could potentially rust the camera to the mount. I have four of these mounts and all have rusted badly.

Could Netgear please modify the design so it is fully corrosion-proof - perhaps make the balljoint from stainless steel?
