Outdoor receiver
Hi my name is Lee Garza,
My suggestion is to change the receiver location from indoors to outdoors. Construct all weather resistant casing to mount outside of the the house or buidling. Have weather resistant antenna's on the outside unit. Power up the the device with PoE and have the power supply/data filter near the router/switch. Cat5e or Cat6 will allow to place the outdoor unit with only one cable needed and a very long disance from the router/switch. This way the camera can connect to the reciever with a much better connection and can place the camera's at a further distance if needed.
Place a grounding cable at the power/data filter box for lighting strikes.
If you find this to be a great idea, I wouldn't mind a free protype if developed.
