Improvment to your App in relation to Firmware Updates

May I suggest a change to your App?


When adding a camera it appears that the first thing that happens once it has been linked into the host Wi-Fi network is it checks for a firmware download. If this happens the camera shows both lights and the link up (discovery) appears to freeze.


At the moment, the message on the App implies that this wait could be a problem and suggests the user might wish to start the discovery again (and the user might power the camera off). This is not good if it is downloading new firmware.


I suggest that the App should be changed at this point to warn the user to check the lights (and wait) otherwise they might think there is a problem and power the unit off.
