Camera with smaller FOV

A camera that has a smaller (FOV). This would allow you to keep the camera at a farther distance away from area to be surveilled, instead of keeping the camera close to the area being surveilled to reduced the(FOV).

The motion detection range is limited by the PIR sensors, so a narrower FoV might not be enough to do what you want.

However, I also think it makes sense for different reasons.  Some of my cameras would work better with a FoV around 70 degrees (or alternatively, providing a portait mode that also handled motion detection).  If the FoV is too wide, you can end up with too many extraneous motion events.
