Beam Break Detector
Arlo/Netgear:
With peripheral detectors in mind, I know folks would like to see a beam-break added to the list.
Please, if you do pursue this idea would you use a beam/reflector combination? My garage uses a wired emitter and a wired sensor which was unnecessarily complicated to install. A single emitter/detector with a reflector in the path would have been sufficient. A lot easier to install, and if you are going wireless only a single unit would need batteries.
I would think that this would be the logical implementation, but you never know... Apparently it didn't occur to most garage door manufacturers. I know it works - that is the way we had our wide receiving bay doors set up at work.
