An Amazon app that works!

How about coming up with an app for Amazon that does more than connect?
I mean, you tout that it's compatable, then the two main features that people would love to use -- being able to turn Arlo on and off with a voice command, and view live video and/or libraries -- are impossible on the Amazon Echo Spot, which has a video screen.
Had I known that this was the extent of the interaction with the app, I would have continued to search for a different program
