Ability to turn night vision on and off based on a schedule or as part of a mode setting

I have a new Arlo setup watching an elderly parent, who for prefers to keep the house dark with the curtains drawn most of the time. Nevertheless there is enough light to provide a reasonable color picture, but the Alro camera still goes into night mode, which will lead to further battery drain.  I would like the ability to enable/disable night vision based on time of day, local sunrise/sunset, and/or as part of the video settings available in a Mode
