This happens when there is video loss on the connection between the doorbell and the cloud.
What signal strength are you seeing from the doorbell?
How frequently are you seeing this?

Are you using an Arlo base/smarthub, or is the doorbell connected to your home wifi?

FWIW, I sometimes see this with my own AVD1001 (also paired with a smarthub). Personally I think there are some issues in the firmware that still need to be resolved, as I am not seeing any network issues. Though this can be tricky to troubleshoot, as many of the steps that work with cameras (moving them, etc) aren't possible with the doorbell.
