Arlo Q - Camera records everything in high contrast pinkish/purple

Problem Desrciption: Over the past couple days during the day and at night both the recordings and live feeds are no longer clear but instead appear pink/purple.

Model Version: Arlo Q (Version 2.2.1 ; Release Date: November 8,2016)

Firmware: 1.8.3.0_9926 >

Hardware: VMC3040r6

Serial Number: 4CD161S00707A

OS: Not Found

Environment: Apartment Bendroom ( Issue happens in any location)

Take one of the cameras and re-set by holding in reset for about 10 secs...

when front led flashes re-sync as normal....

See it that changes any thing.

 

if it does, do the second camera.

 

If it doesn't work or happens again, contact Netgear Support,

Not sure what you mean by using the second camera in event after resyncing the device works.....

NP..... Now if ur suggestion doesn't work do u have any clue what the issue may be? Also is this issue I am reporting a common problem with this device model version and if so would u recommend upgrading or changing products?

I resynced it and still the same issue where the video background color is pink/purple....

I am going to reactivate the entire app on my phone as if it's a new install and reconfigure and see if this makes a difference....

Any other suggestions?

If the reset didn't work, it may be the IR filter is stuck in position ( night mode )... and could be a defective camera
