Smartthings integration seems to be broken again. I was using motion detection to just turn in some lights, but no motion detected event is passed on to smartthings..Tried reconnecting arlo account, reinstalling apps, recreating the scenarios in smartthings buy nothing works. This has happened before and was resolved by arlo..hope they will do it again..

The symptom you were experience should now be resolved. If you still experienced this please re-link your Arlo account with smart things.

I have the same problem. Remade the link several times without success. Smartthings adds the cameras after linking but motion trigger and video feed does not work.

Could one of those token resets people do when having problems with HomeKit work? In that case I want one for my base station.

My doorbell camera seems to work but the pro 3&4 cameras that connect through the hub does not work in smartthings.
I tried a hard reset of the hub, then added all cameras again and then added arlo to smartthings but it still does not work.

No, that is specific to HomeKit.

Which version of the Arlo app are you using?
Also, is this occurring on Android or iOS?

I tried both versions. Reconnected everything when on 5.0 without success.

V.5 app here, android, s24 ultra, but I guess all this is irrelevant because what is broken is the integration with smarthings.
The link between smarthings and arlo is being conducted through a smarththings add on which doesn't even require the arlo app to be installed on out phone.
So te be clear, motion detection works fine with Android and the arlo app notifications.
Bit they don't get through to smartthings through the 3rd party arlo service...that is connected through smartthings and only through smartthings

I've had my Arlo cameras integrated to my Samsung SmartThings hub for years to trigger actions when motion is detected. Since some time now (weeks or maybe more than a month) it has stopped working. The integration works (can see cameras, turn on/off and see video feed) except for motion detection. No motion detection it's seen in SmartThings. I also tried integrating the cameras to Amazon Alexa and it's not possible to get motion detection there either.
Is this working for others? I have not made any changes to my system. I also tried relinking Arlo and SmartThings but that didn't help.
Any help is greatly appreciated as all my routines for the cameras are now broken.

The Arlo development team is currently investigating reports of this behavior. We will provide an update as soon as we have more information to share with the community.

I'm happy I found this thread. I thought I was alone with this issue.
I have the same issue with 5 different Arlo cameras (1 doorbell, 2 essential and 2 pro 3). Currently I get no motion detection in SmartThings and using the Android app.
I also noticed that there are no motion detection with Alexa integration either so something seems to be severely broken.
Please fix Arlo! All my automations from cameras are broken.

Same here. No push of notifications and no battery status anymore in Smartthings. While Switch on off still works with the upgrade towards App5.0 on Arlo the integration seemed to stop. Exactly with that upgrade.
Have tried somehow everything. DeLink. Reconnect...
I have ST and Arlo on Android. But as Arlo5.0 App works, I also believe it is the API.
BTW I am running Arlo Cams via Arlo SmartHub and without Arlo Security Plan. Maybe Arlo have changed somthings for 'No License" users or SmartHub users...

I use an arlo WiFi doorbell without a hub. I am paying subscription. The problem with smartthings is there.
So this problem is irrelevant of smarthub users or unlicensed users..

Same here. I have cameras both connected to the Arlo hub and stand alone. No notifications on SmartThings for any of them.
On a similar topic - when notifications were working before, I had another recurring issue that I got false movement detected notifications on SmartThings regularly while no motion was detected in the Arlo app. Have others also had this problem?

Same issue here in the UK .
Android app on Galaxy S24 (although irrelevant to this issue).
Smartthings is not receiving motion notifications from my 5 Pro 2 cameras so i have no triggering of my outside lights 😞

Relinking was required but after that it works again.
Thanks for fixing this Arlo! 👍🏻
Do you have any comment on the false motion triggers that have happened in Smartthings but not in the Arlo app? Occasionally routines are triggered by the arlo cameras through smartthings even though there is no movement registered in the arlo app for the associated camera or cameras.
