Arlo Wire-Free camera shows batteries at between 15% and 5% less than an hour

My original Arlo camera shows batteries at between 15% and 5% less than an hour after replacing them. Batteries tested and ok. Any ideas?

OEM batteries or rechargeables?

oem read 3.2v when new, rechargeables read 4.2v off charge 

power button reboot the base and sees if it fixes the battery reading
