Purchased Arlo wired Video Doorbell, has never worked, purchased new doorbell chime for house, still makes chimes ring non-stop. Arlo recommended i get an Arlo Base Station and Arlo Chime. Arlo Chime is not compatible with Arlo Video doorbell. Arlo refuses to refund or credit my purchase. Have submitted BBB complaint there are over 99 complai

Did you ever contact support? Non-stop ringing could be an issue with the power module (either defective or not installed correctly). Or possibly the transformer.

If you added a diode across the two screws on the back of the AVD, you will have this problem. The chime will continue to play each time the AVD lights up. Remove the diode and you would have been fine.
