Just installed the doorbell and running latest firmware.
There is a critical issue with the device as it completely drops from the wifi network at about 8m away (only one wall in between)

You can try resetting the doorbell, remove it from Settings, My Devices and set it up again to see if that helps. If not, consider house construction as well as nearby wireless devices as potential sources of blockage and/or interference.
