Latest version of Arlo Secure on a iPhone 13 Pro with the notch in the middle prevents anyone from selecting the Cloud or Local categories at the top. For whatever reason the resolution setting for the app in the feed settings is incorrect. These buttons are normally right above the most recent video thumbnail. They are currently at the top of the phone screen and are not selectable. Please forward over to developers to have this fixed on the next software update.
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Arlo Secure app. iPhone is running iOS 26.5.2

We are currently investigating the behavior you are seeing with the Cloud/Local storage. I will update the community as soon as possible.

Hello, I'm using an iPhone 17 Pro Max and when I try to view my feed of recorded videos, the Cloud and Local tabs up top aren't clickable. It's behind the time and wifi/battery info bar along with Apple's island thing. Is there a fix for this? I can not click on the Local tab. This is using the latest Arlo app version 6.38.0 released on July 22, 2026. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it also.
It's a bug, so nothing you can do to fix it. You can still see local recordings by selecting the base on the devices page and then navigating into storage settings.

I would like to add an important point from the perspective of a paying Arlo customer.
This issue has now been ongoing for more than a month, and Arlo has officially acknowledged that there is a problem with the Cloud/Local feed functionality on iOS.
In my case, the situation has actually become worse: the “Cloud” and “Local” options, which were previously displayed incorrectly at the very top of the screen, have now disappeared completely from the Feed on my iPhone.
What I find particularly disappointing is Arlo’s customer service and communication.
I have contacted Arlo Support twice regarding this issue. I provided detailed information about the problem, but I have received no meaningful response and no solution.
I currently pay CHF 209 per year for my Arlo subscription, and the renewal price will be CHF 239. As a paying customer, I expect the services included in my subscription to work properly. If an acknowledged technical problem prevents customers from using part of the service for weeks, I also expect Arlo to communicate transparently about it.
I therefore have two very clear questions for Arlo:
1. When will this acknowledged iOS Cloud/Local Feed issue finally be fixed?
2. Will affected paying customers receive a credit, partial refund, or subscription extension for the period during which this functionality has not been available as intended?
If Arlo continues to charge the full subscription price while an acknowledged problem remains unresolved for an extended period, I will have to consider what further consumer or legal options are available to me in Switzerland.
I have invested considerably in the Arlo ecosystem and my system itself is working well. That makes the lack of communication and customer care even more frustrating.
I am not asking for another generic troubleshooting procedure. I am asking Arlo for a clear answer, a timeframe for the fix, and information about appropriate compensation for affected subscribers.

Although reinstalling the app repopulated the local recordings yesterday, new recordings are not populating in the storage settings. This is amateur hour at best.
Have you tried refreshing the view by pulling down on the screen? I just looked at some of mine (on Android) and had to do that to see current ones.

Yes, repeatedly. That didn’t work for two days. Today, my recordings populated again. Clearly the developers are not up to the task.

@WalterStauffi we've all considerably invested in Arlo products. And indeed, some pay subscription on top of it. It's issues upon issues, and God knows why they keep on coming up in the first place. It's as if they do everything to put customers off their product. If so, it's a strange business model (at least for me), but heyho, each to their own.
I was watching the latest Google product launch presentation the other day. Just out of curiosity to see what's 'new'. But what struck me half way through is how sleek their software is - it just works and this kind of stuff that we constantly experience at Arlo seems to be unheard of.

Now the local recordings in storage settings only have recordings from my Pro and Pro2 cameras and none from any of my 4 Ultra 2s or Floodlight camera. And my Arlo Q still won’t work at all since the update, saying it requires a subscription in order to function.

I find this totally unacceptable. I understand it’s a bug and we can’t fix it. Well guess what, it’s a bug and you can fix it Arlo if you were only willing to support your customers. This is known behavior that’s been going on for quite a while and you’ve had updates to your apps since this has become known and those updates didn’t address or fix the problem. I’ve been a customer for a long time and I see the same problems. Come get fixed and come back. WTF Is wrong with your company if you’re not supporting your customers?

Hello. I am using an iPhone 17proMax and iPadM2. After the last iOS update the cloud and local tabs on the feed screen were underneath the time, and battery at the top of the screen, and were not accessible. Now, the feed screen doesn’t even show the cloud and local tabs. I thought I’d share the problem is clearly not fixed, and appears to have gotten worse, from POV.
I can access my local video from my base station, but this is an extra step I have to take when I need to see quickly what is going on on my property.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

These never ending yearly update bugs and developer sloppiness are the reason that i haven’t switched my home security system to Arlo. it would be much simpler if my cameras and my security system were all under the same app. However, the ridiculous software unreliability factor with Arlo has kept me from switching from SimpliSafe, which also has gone way downhill since the large investment firms have effectively taken it over. These corporate takeovers by the investment capital firms have caused reliability and customer service to turn to **bleep** while simultaneously raising prices. They’re obviously only in it for the short term gain from the fee increases and customer service cost cutbacks before the frustrated customers slowly migrate elsewhere. it’s essentially a legal economic scam.
