Amazon Show 5 does not display video feed. Only audio. It used to work. Tried resetting devices, removing/adding cameras, and upgrading software. Nothing works.

Not necessarily true; it might be semantics and it might not, but the coding might be the difference between an app (like the examples you mentioned) and a task (a more specific focus on an end result). Thousands of other tasks that aren't affliated with but have competing products with Amazon also work fine.
Bottom line is that it doesn't work, and the developers -- whether it's Arlo or Amazon -- need to make it work, quickly. Because the front-end users are going to hold Arlo accountable more so than Amazon.

Cameras don't show video feed only audio. How do I make this work? Ring doorbell is not even recognized even though I have the skill enabled. Please advise

Cameras are up-to-date. Worked for about 5 minutes on the first time using the arlo skill, but now will not load audio or video. The screen message replies waiting for arlo when I ask to see a particular camera's live feed.

It's been hit and miss for me. Lately it connects if I have a couple of goes. The trick (earlier in the thread) for looking using the iOS app first makes it much more reliable.
Do we know if it's truly a fix i.e. Echo Show update, Alexa skill update, Arlo update or just pure fluke?!

We wanted to update everyone that the development team deployed an update and you should now be able to view your Arlo camera's live stream on your Amazon Alexa device.
If you're still experiencing the issue, try to disable your Arlo-Alexa skill and re-enable it to see if that helps. Otherwise, feel free to let us know.

Will this be an automatic update or is there steps we need to complete?
It should be automatically updated and you should be able to view the live stream right away. If it doesn't work, try to disable and re-enable the Arlo-Alexa skill.

Echo show 8 does the same thing. It showed me one of the cameras once and it too gets stuck on the same message again.
Please remove the “solved” status from this thread and let us know when it is actually fixed.
Thank you

I'm still having issues as well. I disabled and re-enabled/re-linked the Alexa skill and nothing has changed. I'm hoping that maybe Alexa rolls out skill updates, because I noticed in the Alexa app, when I go to My Skills, there is an "Updated" category and the Arlo skill wasn't listed as updated. So fingers crossed that's all it is and the update will get pushed through to me if it hasn't already.

I tried again today and can now view my cameras on my alexa show, show 8, and spot. Also able to view them on my fireTVs. Appears the fix is working for me. Would like to see the lag time reduced.
