Log out of the account and log back in, then reboot the basestation, after that then set up the Homekit without a code with the instructions I provided.

You will need to reset the basestation then, however please keep in mind that you will need to add all the cameras back onto the account.

Once I rebooted then went to settings, Device Info on the base, I happened to notice a quick flash so I took a video of me selecting Device info. The flash is the HomeKit option that then disappears. What could cause this? Should I factory reset again?

You will need to do the reset again and I will reset the token again as well. Lets try a reboot actually before doing a full reset.
