It would be nice if a Netgear / Arlo rep came online to provide a progress update. Mine "repaired itself" but others still have issues. Has Netgear identified the cause or not?

Same issue here. Reinstalling the app temporarily fixes the issue, however sooner or later the duplicate cams appear, with one set non-functional. Also since the last iPhone app upgrade push notifications are not working. I'm certain to have settings where notifications are completely allowed. I hope there is some fixes soon.

Removing it from my iphone and re-installing fixes it but I don't know for how long.

I had this doubling start yesterday on my iPhone 6+. It does NOT happen on my iPad Mini 4 nor on the web interface.
I followed all of the recommendations (restarting, power cycling, uninistalling/reinstalling app, re-pairing cameras) and the app and firmware are all current.
The doubpling of all cameras remains an issue with the iPhone only.

I know there are some basic differences between the iPad and iPhone but most of that has to do with the screen real estate.
Yet my iPad Mini 4 has always been fine while the iPhone 6+ continues to experience the problem regardless of re-installation, and Arlo firmware/reboot/reset efforts.
Both are iOS and both on the most current available version of iOS and Arlo app.
