Camera Not Detecting Motion when using Live video

Hello,

Title should say it all - but, motion detected footage isn't being saved if I'm viewing the livestream. I've tried rebooting base station - and motion detection does indeed work if I'm not viewing it, but for security reasons I'd like to have the livestream up and running on a second monitor. How do I keep motion detection active? It would seem quite stupid if I had to manually press record in the livestream upon detecting motion.

this is normal... as in Live View mode, you are overriding the motion detect.... you can toggle on record manually

As to keeping live view on all the time, on all the Arlo base cameras, it shuts off at about 30 mins ( safety factor to not run down batteries ) ( only , IIRC, the Q  and Baby do not time out )
