Avd1001 ring will not light up

Have a transformer 16-24v. Reading 19 volts at the two screws in the back of the doorbell. I don't have a chime. There is no light or anything. Tried to reset. Nothing happens.

Leave it connected for ~30 minutes (probably less would do). There's an internal battery that has to be sufficiently charged before the doorbell will work. If still an issue swap at the store.

Thanks for the reply! I've left it hooked up all night. Didn't check it this morning, but will see when I get home from work.
