I've been having trouble getting my doorbell to connect to WiFi. It recognizes the QR code. I've turned off my router's 5Ghz band. I've set my phone so it won't switch networks. The doorbell blinks white for about 15 seconds then flashes amber and stops altogether. Any ideas?

Try the reset procedure outlined in the FAQ in the support area here. Hold the little button for >10 seconds until it ring flashes and try again.

The other issue done the update of the app (Android) a couple of days ago the the option for adding a wire free video doorbell is not available on the app. Only the wired option is available.

Damot,
You may need to uninstall and reinstall the app if you're not seeing an option to onboard the wire-free doorbell.
