If you have any question about Arlo support consider this - I just got an e-mail from them asking for more input - the case was filed in May of 2020.   So 15 months later they are ready to handle my case, need I say more.

No need JessicaP I just gave up on them and purchased the Elite plan and now secure.  If this was the only time with support it would be one thing but this crap has been going on to long for any reputable company so unless you can fix support not really.  It's clear their goal is to make everything a pain until you purchase the top tier.  Perhaps we can get Netgear to take it back.
