ive had Arlo for about 6 weeks now and all working fine till yesterday

The problem is with viewing the cameras on my mobile phone as live streaming

all i get is a black screen

have uninstalled several times, synced again checked flash rebooted, turned off and on again.

still records fine in motion mode and i hear the audio fine

also works fine on the laptop

seems could be related to update for the app?

anyone else have the same problems?

OS is operating system.... do you know what version of android?

 

edit: ..quick look states Jellybean or 4.2

Not sure if newer versions of app run on that versions.... will chk for you if I can

specs states ;

The Arlo app requires the following OS versions:

  • Apple devices: iOS version 9.0 or higher
  • Android devices: Android 4.2.2 or higher

 

It could be the last update of app ( ? )

mine is 4.2.2 and it had been working fine, does this mean i need to upgrade my phone?

Since you have 4.2.2, it should work... as specs say that or better. ( and you had it working before that )

 

Do you / have you the lasest  android app update from the Oct 2 or did the issue start then?

 

I really don't have any more to offer as help as you did everything I would have suggested already...

Only other thing is to make sure the cam and base FW are up to date.

 

@JamesC   James, is it possible the new app requires a higher level of OS?

This happened after i recieved the latest update on the app 2nd oct

It worked fine before this
