Try cleaning both connectors (camera and cable) with isopropyl alcohol. Also try a different charger that supplies 5 volts at 2 amps.

Thanks for your reply. I followed your advice, unfortunately that did not solve my charging issue. Today I received the VMA 5600c solar panels, placed them outside and still no luck getting these xl batteries to charge.  Also, tried third party cable with no luck. The cameras work fine just cannot this xl batteries to charge!
