I've tried everything I can think of to disable audio detection but to no avail. This camera detects even the slightest wind noise running down the battery very quickly. I have set audio detection to the lowest setting of 1 in the default settings menu. Also turned it off in Smart Notifications and Routines (Rules), Smoke & CO2 detection also set to off.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

Did you try a hardware reset?

  1. remove the camera from the account
  2. open the housing and hold down sync until the LED flashes amber (~15 sec)
  3. add the camera back to the account

You're in the wrong place. Edit your modes and rules in Routines and toggle audio detection to off.

Thanks for the reply. No I haven't tried a factory reset, was hoping it was something easier before trying that.

Thanks, as mentioned I already did all that. But I did notice the microphone was still toggled on, does that need to be off for the modes and rules in Routines to take effect even though audio detection is toggled off?

It's ok to leave the mic on, that allows you to hear audio in the recordings (or livestream), and also use two-way talk.
