Started getting these "#### is Fully Charged" notifications today on Galaxy S23 phone (Android 14).  Never used to get them before.  There is no way to turn battery notifications off, since they are included in the same generic "Notifications" category, so unless you turn off ALL motion and other important notifications, phone is now nagging with notifications about battery being fully charged.

My Arlo cameras are permanently connected to power sources so I'm not concerned about battery status.

Arlo support confirmed there's no way to turn off just battery charging/charged notifications.  😕

Has anyone else noticed this recently (June 2024)?

Running latest version of app 4.14.6  on Android 14, Galaxy S23 Ultra One running UI 6.1

What is being done for those of us with Essential 2K cameras having this same issue?  Now 6+ weeks of these annoying notifications.  If Arlo is going to ignore the rest of us we need a method to request a refund.

@MannyValencia all the Essential Cameras have been moved over. The Ultra cameras cannot be moved as the experimental build isn't for that camera. I will keep you updated on any changes to this.

What is up with the battery fully charged notifications? This is honestly making me want to change companies. I get over 10 notifications about my battery being fully charged. I don't care to have this mess send to my phone! Does anyone know how to turn this crap off? And if I disable my notifications then I will not get informed on the real notifications that I care about. Arlo is really close to losing my business because of this dumb notification mess.

Hi @BrookeN can you please help me get one of my cameras in the experimental build to stop the "fully charged" notifications? I have an Essential Outdoor Camera connected directly to a plug (firmware 1.4.3_847_b21d876).

Model: VMC3050Aer1.4

Serial No:

Thank you.

Quick follow-up is anyone still experiencing this same behavior? Besides those of you with the Essential 2 cameras.

@vicman426 and @Flinnwood61  are you still experiencing the fully charged notification on your E2 device?

Yes.  I received probably 12 notifications yesterday that my device was fully charged.

Hi,

My camera has been updated to the experimental build and the fully charged notifications stopped. Now I have 2 new problems :

1- The camera doesn't want to charge from the Arlo solar panel

2- it is sending tons of notifications that there is movement detected.

I had to switch off notifications as it was driving me crazy.

Can you please put me on a build that does not have these problems.

I have an Essential spotlight camera

My SN :

Firmware :1.090.34.200_3_824a242

Hardware : VMC2030AerH9

This is honestly inacceptable behavior. If I have to switch off the notifications, what is the point of having a camera ?
