Can anyone help me out? My Arlo 4 says activity zone is disabled. I have never disabled it and somehow I get notifications that motion has been detected at various cameras, BUT it is not recording anymore since the activity zone is allegedly disabled.

Disabling the zone will result in more recordings, never fewer.

This sounds like your subscription for the camera has expired.  Activity zones when on battery require a subscription, as does cloud storage.

Thank you for the reply. I have been using a USB thumb drive for several months even after free trial ended. No problems at all. I am trying to figure out why it says “activity zone disabled” when I did not disable it.

If the camera is not externally powered the activity zones should not be available unless you have a subscription.

It may be a delay with the arlo account recognition that zones are applied without subscription or external power and to remove the message you need to delete the zones from the camera settings.

This is even more weird. It finally started to record and show me all the clips it took for the cameras and I did not even change/edit any features. Some kind of glitch is happening.

Sounds like Arlo is playing.
