I am happy with local storage and don't want to pay for any plan but it will not let me see local storage, cameras pick up movement, people, etc, I just cant view them. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance. Email me directly if you could please, micklewislighthouse@aol.com

What model base do you have?
Do you see "Library" in your app menu? Or do you instead see "Feed" and "Dashboard"?

If you have a VMB4540 or a VMB5000 smarthub, then
- go to the devices page
- select the base
- press "storage settings"
You should see the local recordings there.

That is your camera, not the smarthub. It is a Pro 4, NOT a Pro 3.
Do you have a VMB4540 or VMB5000 smarthub? Or is the camera directly connected to your home wifi?
If you do have an Arlo Hub, there is a label with the model number on it.

Local storage requires a VMB4540 or VMB5000 smarthub. There is no way to add storage to the camera itself.
It has several limitations:
- recordings can only be accessed from the app (not my.arlo.com)
- recordings cannot be accessed from shared "friend" accounts
- there are no thumbnails - recordings have to be downloaded to your phone before you see anything
- no ability to make shapshots or take manual recordings while livestreaming
- remote access requires router setting changes that many find difficult (and which do not work with some internet service providers).

If I buy a plan, will everything work as it did before the trial ended? So I need any new equipment for it to work?

Yes. But check out the details of the plans first, just to make sure you get the features you want (without over-buying).
