I have change phones and downloaded the app.

I can get video and sound when checking on things manually but no video in library.

I do get sound.

How do I fix this? I've put my new phone as a trusted device

It's not an app/phone problem but perhaps a subscription has expired. Verify that the camera has a subscription since one is required for cloud recordings.

 

Also, to be clear, you are logging in as the primary user and not as a guest, correct?

You get recordings with sound, but the video is black???  That's not a subscription issue.  

 

What do you see using a PC (my.arlo.com)

 

If you use only local recording, then try connecting the storage to the PC, and check if there is any video there.
