my camera battery was at 10% according to the app.  I plugged it in, but it wouldn't charge - app continued to show it at 10%, didn't give the charging indicator.  Have never had this issue before.  Bought an aftermarket cable, light slowly blinks blue.  Tried the arlo cable again - light turns blue for a few seconds, then nothing.  At one point, in all my attempts to charge it, it flashed blue very quickly several times. Another time, when I picked up the camera, it clicked rapidly (IR sensor turning on?). So I think it has some sort of charge.  But when I plug it in now, it just turns blue for a few seconds, then the light turns off and there's no indication anything is happening.

Sometime during this entire process, I removed the device, but haven't been able to re-add it.  Uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  Factory reset the hub, renamed it.  When trying to sync the camera, it doesn't find it.  When I press the manual sync button on the camera (holding for up to 30 seconds), nothing happens.

would love any ideas - I've spent hours trying to figure this out and it's so frustrating that everything was fine, and then all of sudden it just stopped working!

Given your symptoms, I suspect the camera may be faulty. Here's a few comments about your comments:

- The camera should normally blink blue briefly when attaching power to indicate that power was applied. The aftermarket charger definitely wasn't working properly.

- The apparent clicking of the IR filter is not normal unless the camera was active and the way you were handling it caused the camera to see reduced ambient light, enabling night vision.

- If you have another camera with a compatible battery, what happens if you swap the batteries?

- You may want to try this FAQ in case the battery is totally dead. The idea is to plug and unplug the camera multiple times to get enough charge into the battery to then allow it to charge normally:
