Arlo Pro 2 Base Station quit communicating with app on phone

Base station quit communicating with app on phone- deleted devices & app. (2 wire free cameras & base station) to reload/ connect, I unplugged everything and began to setup per start up guide, the green power light and internet light came on, launched app to add device (base station) it cycles thru and doesn’t discover the base station, repeated this at least 20 times and also reset the base station several times and the base station still isn’t recognized.

 

Setting up the base station and cameras initially was not a problem and my router is the same and works great, the Arlo Pro 2 Security System was purchase less than a year ago (Feb. 10, 2018) my assumption is it’s a faulty base station that needs to be replaced...suggestions would be appreciated.

Hardware problems have to be resolved by opening a case.
