Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera Keeps Disappearing

My camera just disappeared from my dashboard last week.  I charged and added it back and it worked for a few hours and disappeared again.  I charged it as it seemed maybe it wasn't charging as I couldn't get any lights to come on.  I added it  a second time, it worked and within a few hours disappeared again but before it did I got a message from the app that disappeared.

 

I have no idea what to do.  Is the battery or camera shot?  Even after updating firmware the second time why would it disappear and then not reload?

 

I don't know if I need to change systems or what?

The battery is not replaceable, so there's not much point in figuring out if it's the battery or the electronics.

 

I suggest moving the camera closer to the router as a test (maybe 6-10 feet away), and see if the behavior changes.

I exhausted everything anyone suggested and still couldn't get it to work.

 

As I had purchased an extended warranty through Amazon,  returned the camera for a refund.

I've been having the same issue for months. Recently I'll add it back and before I can mount it outside it asks for a factory reset. I'll do it, and then it will ask for it again. I wish I could be more helpful but I think the best thing is to throw it away, or see if you can get your money back.
