When trying to set it up to my wifi I keep getting error codes and they can't find it in the system along with wrong password.  I am putting in the right password. What is up.

I cannot the 2nd Generation Essential Outdoor camera directly to my Wi-Fi. I get stuck on “Searching for the device in our system” and then it fails.

I was told by customer support on the phone this afternoon that they expect to be fixed today 🤷🏼‍♀️

There is a known Arlo problem with setting them up. They are working on it

Yeah, “working on it” for almost 24 hours.  Not a very good look considering they just sold a crap ton of these for the early Black Friday sale at Walmart.

True, but we have had Arlo Pro cameras (on end of life list) for a few years amd had issues. So I am hoping they will fix this quickly

ShayneS, thanks for the reply.   I have connected the Essential 2 camera to my main house WiFi router.  Slow to load but it works fine.  Ultimately I would like to mount this camera on a barn containing the VMB4000 hub that is 150' from the main house.  I eagerly await the resolution to the hub compatibility issue.

I just got a Arlo Essential outdoor Camera Generation 2. Trying to set it up I hit the sync button on top hit continue in the app say connecting to wifi then it says camera failed to connect

I just bought a camera, and it is just «spinning» when I try to have a live view. When you fix the issue, is there anything I need to do, or will it get updates in the software online?

I just got a Arlo Essential Outdoor Camera 2nd Gen today and i have the app it finds the camera when i sync. it searches my wifi then it says searching for the device in our system. Then after awhile it says camera failed to connect. There was a issue when connecting please try again gives Error Code 17409. It keeps doing this everytime I try again. Should I just take it back to Walmart or what?

My cameras record clips when they sense motion, like they are supposed to, but I cannot access the live feed. Access to the live feed is one of the main reasons I purchased these cams in the first place.

My Arlo Essential Camera, 2nd Gen, is not displaying any live footage despite trying various troubleshooting options, including moving it to a different location and performing a factory reset. Everything else, such as motion detection, the spotlight, and two-way audio, is functioning properly. Notably, when motion is detected, the camera successfully captures footage and identifies the cause of the motion, whether it's a vehicle, person, or animal. However, the primary issue is that the live footage, arguably the most crucial feature, is not working at all, and I have not found a solution.

I just bought Arlo Essential outdoor 2nd Gen Cameras and They keep giving a error code : 17153. I have been trying to connect all day. The Cameras are fully charged and I am setting up with my router only 3 inches away from everything. First time activating my account/cameras. Thank you
