Alerts essential outdoor 2nd gen

I have this working along with the door cam , however I don't get alerts unlike the doorcam . I get a live feed

The motion detection works as I ran test and the amber light blinks 

I also increased sensitivity and lowered it .  It's away from glass and mirrors and still , I cannot receive alerts.  

Does anyone know if it's possible to receive alerts like the doorcam 

The feature is obviously activated.

Alerts or recordings? Alerts are set in your rules for the camera (in Routines) as are recordings based on detection. However, the recordings require a subscription - check Settings, Home Plans to verify the camera(s)' trial sub hasn't expired. If there's no trial sub, you'll need to purchase a plan for recordings.

Hi thanks for reply . Yes alerts and recordings . I have a trial sub to 10 January.   

So I  simply go into Routine and set up alerts for the outdoor camera ?

To do that you would edit the rule for the camera in each mode (as appropriate) and check the setting for Send Notification.

Thanks for reply ..  i found out that the basic sub is for only one feed

The next package is for 4 cameras 

This is why Iam not getting the outdoor alerts. 

Everything was set up however without the correct sub you won't get more than one feed or alerts .

How did you determine that? AFAIK, you should get notifications for all cameras regardless of having a sub.

I looked at the different plans 

The basic plan will only give you an alert or notification for one camera 

Only.  For more you need to pay the extra to get 30 days of alerts etc 

The next plan up gives you full history.

Alerts (notifications) are NOT the same as recordings.  Alerts do NOT require a subscription.  Cloud recordings do.

Thanks for reply . I  still can't get alerts on my outdoor camera only my doorcam .. everything is activated on Rountines .

There's nothing on my feeds or dashboard only my door cam ?

Is there something iam not doing ?
