My Arlo Baby camera is not working.
Instead, there is a message which states: “Please connect Arlo Baby to a power source. A firmware update is required for this camera, but its battery levels are too low to proceed.”
However, the camera is 100% definitely plugged in!
Furthermore, in the device settings menu, under “Device Info”, there is a message that a firmware update is available, but when I tap on it, it says “No updates available”.
Very confusing. Is the camera broken? Help!

Hey OTMT,
What firmware version are you on for your Arlo Baby? And have you tried plugging your Arlo Baby to a different outlet? Make sure you're using the original power adapter and cable.

Also , you can try and turn off battery ( under feet; quarter twist ) and then plug into original power adapter... test

Unfortunately after much back and forth with Arlo's support, they have got to a conclusion that since I used a different micro USB cable than the other provided that it "ruined" the battery/the device and didn't take responsibility for exchanging the product, so I'm stuck with a defective product. I found it ridiculous, cause the cable provided from Arlo is not long enough to mount the camera on the wall at my daughter's room. Big bummer and I won't get an Arlo camera again.

It is truly a ridiculous explanation.
I have been waiting for a bug fix with homekit for more than 6 months.
I will definitely not buy another @Arlo product.
