Door bell

We don't have a doorbell...is there one included with this unit?  What about a camera?  How does it comapre with"Ring"?

The doorbell is an add-on... there is no camera in it but tit does have motion sensor ( can trigger cameras ) , 2 way talk, and other featues.... look at the product section at top of every page re door bell

Does the arlo doorbell wire directly to an existing door chime using the existing doorbell wires and is the arlo doorbell backlit for night visibility?.

Yes and sorta. Since the doorbell has motion detection, as you approach it there's a ring around the button that pulses.
