Hi,
I am having issues with my 4 new Arlo Pro 5S cameras. They’re all linked to my Smart Station (VMB4540r4) with an ongoing subscription. I would like to use Apple HomeKit to see my cameras and I have linked my smart station to Apple HomeKit and I can see the base station as a bridge in Apple Home, but not the cameras.
When I go to the smart station and press HomeKit, then search for the cameras when I am close by, they don’t show up.
I have updated the firmware of all my units.
Smart station: 1.26.0.0_1812_12a0681
Cameras: 1.060.34.0_18_ba887f3
Is there something that I am missing?
Thanks in advance.
Henrik

You will need to remove the device and reinstall to the SmartUb or Base Station if they are already connected directly to your router. Side Note: if you want to change "networks" you can do this part from the app in the device settings, no need to remove it.

Hi @henrikmuhl
These devices need to be onboarded to your Smart Hub not directly to your WIFI network. to utilize HomeKit features. You can find more info pertaining this feature here

That explains the issues.
I have tried following that guide, but as I couldn’t find the cameras under HomeKit for connection, I assumed I had issues with the cameras.
Well, if I now connected my camera to the WiFi, I assume I need to reset the cameras to connect them directly to the smarthub, or how’s the process for this? I can’t find that scenario in the walkthrough guide you sent.
Thanks.
