I removed the base station and restarted it per the instructions when the accessory is unrecognized.

I just re-added all my cameras back to the base station so I have no interest in resetting it and doing this process again.

I reset the token again, please follow these steps:

To setup an Arlo device without a setup code:

  1. Launch the Arlo Secure App on your Apple device.
  2. Tap Devices.
  3. Select an Arlo SmartHub or Arlo Base Station.
  4. Tap the name of your Arlo Smarthub or Arlo Base Station.
  5. Tap HomeKit.
  6. Select the Arlo SmartHub or Arlo Base Station you want to add to Apple Home.
  7. Select a Home or tap Add New Home.
If you don’t have a Home set up in the Arlo Secure App, you are directed to create a Home.
  8. Select a Room or tap Add a New Room.
If you don’t have a Room set up in the Arlo Secure App, you are directed to create a Room.
  9. Tap Continue to add devices to HomeKit to add devices or additional Arlo Base Stations.
  10. Continue through the setup flows to confirm the name and room placement for each device.
Note: The name that you give each device is used for Siri commands. Choose a unique name that is easy to remember and pronounce.
  11. Confirm the name of the device.
  12. Tap Skip, or rename any other devices as needed.
  13. Tap Finish.
Your devices are ready to use with Apple Home.

I went through those steps and I’m still getting the same error about the “Uncertified Accessory”.  I went through the steps of removing the base and restarting it.  Error still remains.  At the bottom it says if you are still getting the error to contact support.

You can try to log out and log back in to the account and try again. There is no further steps then these for Apple Home.

Same result on both Apple devices.

Is it possible to set out a new base station for troubleshooting purposes?  Maybe there is a hardware issue here.

Thanks.

I have an Arlo VMB5000 Ultra 2 SmartHub and am requesting assistance with a Homekit token reset. I would appreciate any help that can be offered. I was on the phone much of the day yesterday with Arlo customer support. They were very diligent and I appreciated their efforts, but they were unable to help me connect the Hub to HomeKit without me having the QR Code or a written code for linking. Any help would be much appreciated!

Here is some into:

Firmware: 1.31.0.0_1979_0493cac

Hardware: VMB5000r6

I can provide the serial number as well if needed.

Thank you!

If that does not work you may need to reset the basestation. If you do reset the basestation, please keep in mind that you will need to add the cameras back to the account.

Thank you Brooke.

I am still experiencing the Locate the QR code prompt. When I select Continue a screen (Looking very much like the HomeKit screen) Opens up. "Add Accessory" my camera view is visible, I select "More options..."   BasestationA6C4437y...  Shows up as Nearby. I select it..  A blue banner comes up that says Uncertified Accessory with a gray Add Anyway button and a blue Cancel button. I select Add Anyway. Takes me back to Setup Code 'Enter the code found on the accessory, box, or instructions.'  Of course my dilemma is I don't have a code. I select the blue Continue button.  I get a window says Connection Lost. Make sure your accessory is powered and nearby. A blue Retry button and gray button Setup Accessory Later.   I also went through the steps from the article link you provided (https://kb.arlo.com/000062294) same result. I did a factory reset - same result. What might I be doing wrong? Can you help me?

Thank you,

SensFL

I am also stuck here.

If there are additional steps to take, I would really appreciate the guidance.

Thanks.
