tripping/recording with NO movement at night

Last night (june 6 and into the early morning - prior to sunrise) my linked cameras (programmed to record if one is tripped and vise versa) continued to trip and record all night with NO movements. I removed the cameras and placed them in seprate boxes away from any movement. They continued to trip and record. Is this a common error?

I don't use this sort of camera interaction but some have said that some of the more recent updates have caused inconsistency in this sort of mode/rule. Try setting up rules that only activate the camera that motion is detected on (i.e. break the linkage) to see if the cameras operate normally or if they still act the same. Maybe it's a rule thing...
