I want to install the Arlo app, however it requires so many permissions on Android. (Device&App history, Location, Photos, Microphone, Wi-Fi connection, Device-ID and call information). Why does the app need all this information? What does Arlo/Netgear do with my call information?
Thank you

I just found this searching "why does arlo need all these permissions".
so this link above is telling me its geofencing?
so Geofending needs the following rights?
read phone status and identity?
record audio?
modify or delete the contents of your USB storage and test access to protected space?
find accounts on the device use accounts on the device?
download files without ntofication?
Full network acccess?
Pair with bluetooth devices?
retreive running apps?
modify system settings?
read home settings and shortcuts?
or is this all needed for the chinise verson and that is what I received on my Samsung in USA?
