Not sure what you're seeing.  Arlo supports two types of notifications - email and app.  Texts are not possible although TomMac has a method for sending email alerts to text. Are you trying to use his method to get texts?

J is right ...Arlo only offically supports email or pushes ( android/ios )

In order to get TEXT or sms on my phone, I used the format verizon gives to convert email to text ( each service provider is diff , There is a list on here )

exp;  'phonenumber'@vtext.com for email converts to sms

formats as follow;

AT&T: cellnumber@txt.att.net

Cingular: cellnumber@cingularme.com

Metro PCS: cellnumber@MyMetroPcs.com

Nextel: cellnumber@messaging.nextel.com

Powertel: cellnumber@ptel.net

Sprint: cellnumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
SunCom: cellnumber@tms.suncom.com

T-Mobile: cellnumber@tmomail.net

US Cellular: cellnumber@email.uscc.net

Verizon: cellnumber@vtext.com

Virgin Mobile: cellnumber@vmobl.com

Alltel:  cellnumber@message.alltel.com

Thank you both, I am using TMs method and did get a text (similar to an email) where I had to confirm my email to get alerts, it looks like:

Subj: Your Arlo Change-Of-Address Is Official! : Your Arlo Change-Of-Address Is Official! body background:#EEEE; padding:45pz 5%; margin:0; position:relative; display:block; font-family:Arial, Tahoma, sans-serif; cursor:default; line-height:normal; a,img outline:none; border:none;

Any thoughts?

Yes.... it has been seen that some carriers DO NOT filter out all the html that comes thru from Arlo.

I get some now and then but it's still easier to read the quick sms over an email on my smart phone ( due to pop -up )

If needed then i sign into the app.
